With a reasonably large number of disparate stakeholders, split by region, function, varied processes and systems, the main challenge to the project is common understanding and agreement to objectives and goals. The role demands a high level of relevant competencies, including analytical and conceptional skills, relationship management, cooperation, conflict manag! ement, persuasiveness, planning and organising, goal orientati! on and risk management.

Essential Skills

  • Wide experience Software Architecture.
  • Expert in IT Processes and Quality Assurance.

Tasks:
The events branch of this firm brings brands and marketing agencies together. Each of their events revolve around a theme. The themes follow various marketing disciplines, normally aligned to current trends and client needs within the market place.

Our client’s events give agencies the opportunity to meet decision makers from brands who are looking to engage new agencies for various requirements. These requirements will vary dependent on the theme. Their events give brands the chance to meet and question, in private face-to-face meetings, marketing agencies that they know can meet their requirements and see what fresh agency talent is out there.

Each agency meets each brand, for private 15 minute sessions (held in the hospitality boxes), to discuss the client requirements and share thoughts on new ideas and what a successful relationship could look like. Their events are great at making sure ! the most important ingredient is there before working together...that being good chemistry! Their events are hosted at; Lords Cricket Ground, Chelsea Football Club's Stamford Bridge or Manchester United's Old Trafford.

Backed by £50 million of funding, we have already opened 39 sites, with more opening soon and a fully funded pipeline to open between 15 - 20 clubs a year for the next few years. Each club has 5000+ members, an annual turnover in excess of £1 million with an EBITDA of over £500,000 for which managers have full P&L responsibility.

This role req! uires an extraordinary manager with proven entrepreneurial fla! ir and commercial ability, as well as the skill, energy and determination to drive and grow the business. We're looking for a manager who enjoys having the freedom to take charge of all aspects of an operationl.

Open 24 hours a day, with no minimum contract, no punishing tie-ins or lengthy membership process, The Gym's state-of-the art facilities can be accessed from just £10.99 per month.

The role
Membership and sales administration processes are largely managed online. This means the role is focused on:

  • Helping to drive the opening of the new club
  • Driving sales activities from campaigns in the local area
  • Driving brand standards and customer service levels
  • Promoting the brand and marketing activities for the club
  • Recruiting, training and managing personal trainers for the club
  • Opportunity to Personal Train for up to 10 hours per week and keep 100% of the income you generate
  • Reporting ! directly to the General Manager
The candidate
  • Must be at least REPS level 2 qualified
  • Must have proven and successful operational gym management experience within the health and fitness industry
  • Preferably, you'll have experience of driving sales activities from lead generation campaigns
  • Must be passionate about customer service and enjoy engaging with our members
  • Experience of managing personal trainers with a leading from the front management style
