Our Healthcare PR client is currently looking for an Account Director to join an expanding team working in their London office. Ensuring that everybody works across disciplines other than their own is something that enables their thinking to never become blinkered or stale.

Role:
Leading a team to deliver high quality, creative communications programmes to a wide range of pharmaceutical and life science clients and ensuring quality delivery of work. Developing strategic integrated communications programmes aligned with clientsâ business challenges and priorities.
Responsibilities:
Maximise client business opportunities through organic growth and support new business activities, including taking lead roles in new business pitch opportunities
Actively coach and develop team members and implement personal development scheme for line reports
Directly support the Leadership Team with resourcing and capacity planning
Ensure effective communication across the company as a liaison between junior management forum and senior management team
Proacti! vely share knowledge on healthcare developments and communication skills across the company
Required skills:
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
Diplomacy skills with opinion leaders
Good presentation skills
Strong strategic skills
Comprehensive, current knowledge of the UK healthcare environment, including latest policy and industry developments
Selling ideas to others, creating âbuy inâ and through sustained energy and enthusiasm overcomes obstacles in implementing these ideas
Establishing rapport and trust and develops strong working relationships at different levels within the Company and externally
Generating ideas, looking for external references where appropriate and has the ability to take them forward into something achievable, profitable and practical.
Actively encouraging all staff to achieve their full potential by seeking opportuni! ties, both within and outside of the Company, for them to develop
Conducting effective appraisals, following up on agreed outcomes
