  • Undertake a full range of administrative duties to ensure an efficient service is delivered to allocated team • Screen incoming mail, telephone calls and emails on behalf of team and manage all appropriate correspondence • Be fully conversant in MS Office to produce a range of spreadsheets, documents and presentations, as required • Undertake multi diary management and plan schedules in diaries to optimise the working time of allocated team • Arrange and attend team meetings/conferences as required, to take minutes, and ensure appropriate facilities are organised • Perform ad hoc confidential project ! work, as required • Prepare and track personal expenses and ! other ancillary expenditure • Maintain accurate and secure paper based/electronic filing systems, including archiving • Maintain full confidentiality of sensitive business issues • Book travel and accommodation arrangements for team • Support the work of other Administrators during periods of absence or unexpected high volumes of work activity • Lives the Balfour Beatty Values • Ensures a relentless focus on Zero Harm • Supports the delivery of the CSUK Sustainability 2020 roadmap Requirements • Secretarial and/or administrative experience • Highly organised and able to work on own initiative • Strong communicator • Excellent team working skills, and able to build relationships at all levels • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales • Very strong customer focus • Excellent typing speed and IT Skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Responsibilities Results Driven: Demonstrates a passion and excitement fo! r his/her work. Key duties and responsibilities include:
To provide day to day support for the communications environment.

  • Provide day to day support for all Dealer board & Speakerbus Systems
  • Provide day to day support for the banks voice recording platform
  • Provide day to day support for the banks LAN, WLAN, WAN & Firewalls
  • Proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve performance & connectivity issues
  • To ensure stability of all network & voice systems
  • To ensure documentation and procedures are always up to date
  • To perform routine status checks and produce reports.!
  • To perform problem identification and root cause analysis
  • Be an important member of the global team.
  • Ensure all Project time is recorded onto SharePoint & submitted weekly
  • Maintain and review configuration data (e.g. User lists, asset register etc.)
  • Travel may be necessary
  • Provide on call support and work extended hours as and when required
  • Patch systems when required to policy and architectural standards
