The Ambassador Theatre Group is seeking a committed and dedicated individual to work as Ticketing Manager at one of our prestigious West End theatre venues.
The ideal candidate will have proven management skills, a passion for customer care and sales; a background in delivering high standards of service and a proven track record in providing customer satisfaction. We need applicants who are driven, friendly, adaptable and responsible; who enjoy team participation and take pride in delivering the best possible standards. General I.T. skills a must with proven cash handling experience and be able to demonstrate above average levels of numeracy and literacy. Genuinely interested in people, youâll be outgoing with a âcan doâ approach supported by a very good eye for detail.
Experience in retail, ticketing or sales is a necessity.

Main Purpose :
To manage the on-site sales team. Maximising income through effective customer care, sales techniques and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintaining ATG standards of Customer Care.
Working productively under reasonable levels of pressure and completing tasks within specified deadlines.
Creating, analysing and circulating reports to all authorized parties.
Executing Ticket Agent administration in line with Company procedure.
Ensuring that offers and discounts ! are correctly communicated to Ticketing Services and that your Sales Manager is made aware of all current activity.
Processing house/production seats requests, including the issuing of complimentary tickets.
Managing Box Office staff and responsibly delegating appropriate tasks and duties. Ensuring that the box office is effectively staffed at all times in liaison with the Sales Support Manager. Managing all staff issues that many arise including disciplinarians along with your Sales Manager.
Co-operating with other venues in sharing their workload during quiet periods where there exists disproportionate demands on time.
Actively participating in ATG training programmes.
Ensuring that accurate and complete patron data is collected at every opportunity in line with the Data Protection Act.
To respond to all customer enquiries effectively and efficiently, redirecting enquiries to other departments as appropriate and active! ly promoting excellent customer care at all times.
The careful! management of inventory to maximize the sale of tickets.
Understanding Access issues and anti-discrimination legislation. Using tact and sensitivity when meeting the needs of deaf and disabled patrons.
Understanding and adhering to Health & Safety regulations and carrying out duties consistent with ATG Health & Safety procedure.
Following ATG IT policy.
Adhering to Group procedures and contributing to Group initiatives and projects.
Attending HOD meetings.
Deputising for the Sales management team during periods of absence.
