This HR Manager role supports the Audit Fina! ncial Services practice. As a key part of the Talent team, you will be reporting into the Senior HRM and will be responsible for managing a small HR team to mobilise HR Strategy and deliver HR Operations for a client group of circa 800 people, in addition to leading key Talent projects across the practice.
As someone who excels when working within a fast paced and dynamic environment, you will capitalise upon your experience to quickly build strong relationships with the key stakeholders within your Client group & across the wider HR Team.
Comfortable operating with a shared service HR function, you will be able to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in key areas such as: Performance Management & Reward, Employee Engagement, Absence Management, Disciplinary & Grievance procedures and analysis of Management Information.
Responsibilities
The HR Manager will have responsibility for:
Relationship management : Strong negoti! ating and influencing skills and with the gravitas to command ! professional respect at all levels; adept at handling difficult individuals to gain positive and constructive outcomes.
Employment Law : Practical application of current employment law demonstrated through managing ER cases and related risks.
Reward : Experience of managing performance management and reward review processes. Comfortable using Excel to manipulate data, analyse information and make recommendations as appropriate.
Performance Management : Experience of managing Performance Management processes; including management of risk and links to other HR processes.
HRIM Resource Planning : To use centrally produced MI and local HR team information, to monitor key performance indicators; identifying trends and implications for the business and to propose and recommend appropriate interventions.
Commercial Awareness : Strong awareness and understanding of the current environment within we are operating as a Firm and a! ble to adapt recommendations or advice as appropriate.
Team Playing : Takes a collaborative approach to work, taking responsibility for both personal and team goals, actively seeks and values the opinions and contributions of others.
Developing Others : Experience of managing others, provides coaching, guidance and development to other members of the HR Team, agreeing objectives, providing timely and objective feedback, evaluating performance.
Requirements
To qualify for the role you must have:
Minimum of Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or the equivalent required. Post-graduate level degree and a professional Human Resources/business qualification or equivalent experience desired.
Demonstrated experience in several areas of human resources (e.g., employee relations, professional development, HR operations, performance management, compensation, recruiting etc.) within a large, global, matrixed ! organization
Attention to detail, self-motivated with good project ! and time management or organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize workload, manage projects and handle multiple responsibilities while meeting strict deadlines
Ability to develop professional and advisory relationships with senior leaders within the organization
Good judgment and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to advise on sensitive issues
High comfort level in ambiguous situations; able to learn quickly and exercise judgment in situations where data may be elusive
Demonstrated ability to assess needs, understand core issues, set priorities, organize work, and achieve results with minimum supervision
Excellent communication, listening skills, verbal, written and counselling skills.
The capacity to work with people at all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
