An 'Outstanding' 6th Form College in the Wandsworth area are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join them immediately on a part time, long term basis, with potential permanent opportunities for the right candidate.
The high achieving school has excellent facilities, a supportive staff structure, and a fantastic extra- curricular programme.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing cross-curricular assistance to students with Special Educational Needs including physical difficulties.
- Keeping students on task.
- Observing student performance and reporting observations to the subject tutor.
- Spotting early signs of bullying and disruptive behaviour.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about education with previous experience working within Secondary education. SEN experience i! s desirable but not essential.
