Due to continued expansion we wish to recruit data analysts to fill vacancies in our City Data Team. The positions will be on a full time basis and based in our London office.
The roles will primarily involve working with the Cities and Regions team and the Business Development team as we strive to identify and meet the needs of our clients for city level information and analysis. The role will also involve working with the consultancy team to deliver projects with a significant data aggregation and analysis component.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate(s) will be expected to:
Independently conduct data research and manage large scale data development and analysis.
Play a major role in the success and expansion of the City Dat! a Team and assist in the implementation of new systems and pro! cesses.
Work both individually and as part of a team, often supervising the work of assistant economists across various offices.
Balance and prioritise multiple projects at once.
Scope out potential development areas and present findings to the senior management team.
Work alongside our City and Regions team in the production of regional forecasts and analytical reports.
Skills
Candidates for the data analyst positions should possess at least a 2:1 primary degree, from a broad range of fields including but not limited to economics, business studies and ICT.
Candidates with some professional experience working in the field of economics or data analysis would have a distinct advantage.
Candidates should be highly analytical and able to independently source, interpret and draw conclusions from data.
Strong IT skills are required, specifically in relation to Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of advanced s! tatistics packages, Visual Basic or other programming languages would be highly beneficial.
Excellent English language writing and communication skills are essential for the role.
The ideal candidate(s) will have a genuine enthusiasm for economics and data analysis.
