System Support Analyst

We are representing a well know entertainment organisation who are looking to recruit a System Support Analyst to work on an initial 6 month contract basis in London.

The International MIS department! in London provides IT services to the Operating companies & corporate divisions in 30+ countries across the world.

Based in London, the System Support Analyst will play a key role assisting with the rollout and support of iCampaign internationally. The successful candidate will operate closely with business users, fellow team members, offshore resources and senior management. This is a great opportunity to work in the new area of Marketing Resource Management and learn the Aprimo Marketing Studio application. The role may provide opportunities to travel in Europe and Asia Pac.

Essential Job Functions:

• Act as the liaison between the iCampaign business users and the application support team on all technical issues
• Develop business scenarios for testing and validation of all technical fixes delivered by the application support team
• Review business processes after implementation to ensure they are operating as designed
• Provide initial, ad-hoc and ongoing training (online an! d in person) to business users
• Monitor the support queue, drive issue resolution and provide status updates to business users and IT management
• Create reports and dashboards that enable iCampaign Program leadership to track and analyse system use, issues, and risks
• Conduct functional impact analysis on issues and changes to the system
• Manage and organise offshore resources to ensure completion to the satisfaction of Project Management
• Improve the end user's experience of the system by making suggestions to change the software configuration or process given the constraints of the application
• Produce easy to understand training materials
• Proactive at analysing support issues, identifying recurring issues and discussing with Project Management team to providing solutions with an understanding of the software constraints
• Identify opportunities to improve monitoring of how territories are using iCampaign
• Communicate requirements and needs of the business to technical staff and vice versa

To be considered for this opportunity, you will be educated to degree level or of graduate calibre and possess a minimum of 1 year experience in information technology system support, business analytics, or business systems administration. You will also have experience in gathering, developing, and documenting specifications for reporting, planning and analytics applications and the ability to liaise between third party and Project Management teams. Entertainment industry or Marketing experience is desirable but not required.
