Job Description
The purpose of this role is to support the creation of new learning programmes for Advisory Learning. Under direction from the Learning Designers this role will use a range of tools to create learning material and content that meets established standards for quality design including e-learning, virtual classrooms, instructor led classrooms, educational websites, instructional videos, mobile learning, and supporting the 10:20:70 model.

Role and Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the creation! of learning materials as directed by Learning Designers
!
• Work with Learning Designers to:
• Design and build engaging and interactive learning programmes for instructor led and virtual learning environments
• Review source content, structure and order content to create visual storyboards and apply design approach in agreed format and templates
• Liaise with the off-shore graphics team to create highly visual and brand compliant graphics that support the learning design
• Use learning technology to contribute to the creation of effective learning programmes
• Design, develop, test, and deploy webpages on the company intranet for distribution of information and learning material
• Liaise with clients and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather design requirements
• Present design options to the client
• Edit website content for publishing
• Work with the Learning Technology Design Manager to develop instructor led training and ‘learning on the go’ modules via we! bsites and mobile applications
• Build all the templates and sessions for each virtual classroom on the Adobe Connect Platform
• Build videos, podcasts, audio recordings, simulations and demo’s for technology enabled learning
• Assist in the design, production and deployment of virtual classroom and new technologies
• Film content for programmes as directed by Learning Designers

Experience and Background

• Experience in creation of learning materials
• Experience in using learning related technology including learning management systems (LMSs) and virtual classrooms
• Experience in developing with authoring tools ( Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator)
• Web design and development
• Proven ability to prioritise workload and managing difficult stakeholders
• An appreciation for business consulting preferable

Qualifications and Technical Skills

Educated to degree level

Learning Instructional Design

Learning Technology Use

Studio filming skills including editing with Final Cut Pro X

Familiarity with SCORM standards and specifications

Creation, maintenance and ownership of webpages within Microsoft Sharepoint

Familiarity with emerging technologies including TinCan API

Customer relationship management including SMEs and key stakeholders

Project management and experience scheduling, working, and interacting with all members involved from client to deployment

Demonstrates clear and professional verbal and written communications

Good capabilities in PowerPoint, Word, Excel

Salary Range: £25,000 to £27,500 (per annum plus negotiable bonus and benefits)
