Work Base: Whittington Hospital
Hours: 37.5 (including extended hours and week! end working on a rota system)
We are seeking to appoint a Therapy Assistant with drive and initiative to support the work of our integrated therapy teams at the Whittington Hospital. The post holder will work alongside qualified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to restore functional ability in patients during their acute hospital stay. The focus for the role will be to provide concentrated therapy to a referred group of patients and assist with the discharge planning process. The role is diverse and requires the successful candidates to demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in order to carry out the role to its full potential.

We are looking for people who are able to communicate clearly in a variety of situations and settings. We require potential candidates to have good IT, administrative and organizational skills with pr! evious experience of working with people or in a customer faci! ng role. Previous NHS experience and qualifications in a therapy or healthcare related subject would be desirable. A full, valid driving license (manual vehicle) is essential for this post as home visits are a key part of the role. Please state this clearly on your application.
