Maitland Park is the result of a collaboration between Shaw healthcare and Camden Council. It offers both Nursing/Residential Care an! d Extra Care accommodation in purpose-designed building. Shaw healthcare was selected by Camden Council to run these services following a detailed tender process.
With 60 Residential/Nursing en-suite rooms, and 35 self contained Extra Care apartments, the building is designed with the latest research in dementia care design. Coupled with Shaw healthcare commitment to staff training and development, Maitland Park will deliver the very highest care standards to our residents and tenants 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are currently looking to recruit a part time Concierge, it is important that this person is flexible in the times they can work.
OBJECTIVES
To maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness and tidiness within the Centre, causing minimal disruption to Service Users and their care, under the direction of the Scheme Manager.
Ensure that the Service User’s right to privacy and choice is respected at all times.
To work closely wit! h the Scheme Manager to ensure that high standards are maintai! ned at all times.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
To work as directed by the Scheme Manager to ensure cleanliness of the Centre.
Ensure that the daily, weekly and periodic cleaning schedule is adhered to and records maintained.
Use all cleaning materials as directed; paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products.
Maintain effective communication with Care Staff, Service Users and visitors and respond to the needs of the Service Users.
Maintain all electrical equipment in safe and clean working order. Report faults to Scheme Manager
Advise the Scheme Manager of all aspects of redecoration and maintenance requirements.
Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and paper goods and order as necessary through the Scheme Manager.
Maintain and operate the stock control system.
Advise the Scheme Manager and staff on aspects of cleaning e.g. spillages.
