Having just recently divested from RBS Group the DLG Procurement team are looking for a talented and experienced Procurement professional with a high calibre of purchasing expertise to help us continue to evolve on our exciting journey.
Responsible for the Professional Services Category (that’s employee benefits, pensions, payroll, learning and development systems to name a few areas) you will have involvement in high level analysis and decision making and be responsible for the key and strategic contracts and suppliers for the organisation.
You will use your experience as an expert purchasing practitioner to develop strategies, policies, procedures and standards, providing senior level guidance that will have an impact across the business, as well as meeting your own business plan and objectives.

Responsible for the Professional Services Cate! gory you will have involvement in high level analysis and decision making and be responsible for the key and strategic contracts and suppliers for the organisation.
Skills and qualities you’ll need
We’re looking for:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) you’ll have a strong background in purchasing, ideally gained in a blue chip environment, and be looking utilise your considerable expertise and experience.

MCIPS (Member of the
Institute
of
Purchasing
and Supply) or equivalent.
·
Experience in purchasing in the professional services field
·
Strong negotiation skills
·
Good awareness of external markets
What you’ll receive in return

A salary of £52 - £60k pa dependent on experience plus bonus
