As a Security Risk Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Minimum 3 years' experience in information security
Information security risk management skills including (but not be limited to) strong knowledge of risk assessments methods, risk reporting and evaluation methods.
Up-to-date knowledge of technological trends and developments in the area of information security and risk management
Knowledge of information security standards, codes of practice and guidelines such as the ISO/IEC 27000 series
Knowledge of security architecture and security controls
It is essential that the successful candidate can effectively engage and influence stakeholders at technical levels, whether RMG or external service providers or customers.
! It is essential that the successful candidate can communicate ! effectively in person, over the phone, in documentation, via email and in meetings and workshops within and outside the team
Initiating, planning, executing and completing tasks within agreed timelines and quality expectations, maintaining all necessary communications and producing reports & presentations.
Working effectively in a team, as well as independently. Taking initiative, being proactive, collaborative and positive team player.
Good university degree in a technical subject.
Experience of information security management and/or consulting in a complex technology environment.
Writing high level and detailed technical and risk management reports and documentation, including incorporating comments & feedback
Developing & giving presentations to technical
stakeholders and business management
Professional certification such as CISSP, CISA or CISM is preferred
Any knowledge of identity & access management and the process of managing acce! ss to applications is a bonus
As a Security Risk Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:
Identify, register and maintain security risks throughout their lifetimes, including agreeing treatment of risks with their owners, and reporting
Maintain any tools that are available for the risk management activities
Maintain strong relationship with application owners and RMG third party suppliers of in-scope applications
Initiate and manage remediation of risks and findings from the security compliance activities
Generate risk management dashboards and security compliance reports
Engage with application owners and custodians of RMG's applications to understand the architecture, data flow and security controls in their systems
Conduct periodic security compliance assessments and ISO 27001 reviews of BAU IT applications, infrastructures & ISMS.
