We currently have a vacancy for a Building Manager based in the City of London to be responsible for assisting in the smooth management of an office building. You must have experience of ! working for a property management / managing agent company - applications without this experience will not be progressed. This is a TFM Contract so you must have hard and soft services experience in corporate, commercial property.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building/Facilities Manager looking to develop their careers and work at this prestigious property which is a 188,000 sq ft building.
You will be the day to day face of the property management company in the building and will be the main point of contact for dealing with all operational issues arising on site.
You will be required to oversee and monitor all third party contractors working within the building and monitor their performance
You will maintain good relations with all owners/tenants and provide assistance to them at all times.
You will be responsible for ensuring that Health and safety standards within the building are main! tained fully compliant at all times. This includes fire safety! .
Ensure that the building has effective and efficient security in place at all times.
To assist in the re-tendering of contracts on a periodic basis to ensure value for money is obtained for services at all times.
Assist in the production of the annual service charge budget for the property.
Experience
Substantial proven experience within a similar single or multi-site Facilities/Building Manager role for a property management company.
Excellent general knowledge of Facilities/Building Management - Administration / Building Fabric / Mechanical and Electrical services / Health and Safety / Finance / Disaster management
Demonstrable customer care skills and an innovative leadership style.
A good understanding of hard services
Very strong customer service skill
Experience of service charge budgets.
