Regulatory Project Manager

Description: KennedyPearce Consulting is looking of Regulatory Project Manager right now, this position will be placed in England. More details about this position opportunity please read the description below. One of the world’s leading banks is seeking a project manager to lead their new regulatory programme. You will be responsible for a range of projects in the role out of new and constantly evolving! regulatory requirements and subsequently will interact with the various different business units of the organisation. Technical knowledge of FSA (FCA) returns is required along with strong proven project management experience, ideally in the same field. This is a very hands on project role and will be very rewarding for the right candidate.
Duties
- Project managing and delivering key tactical and strategic regulatory initiatives across the business
- Working across EMEA with business leaders on how the changing regulations will impact the business
- Documenting new procedures and developing and improving existing reports (including stress tests)
- Preparing and delivering updates for senior management
- Interpreting new regulatory and accounting requirements and assessing the impact on the reporting entities
- Liaising with IT Department and reporting software providers to develop appropriate software
- Experience of dealing with senior! management from a project manager or programme manager perspective
- Track record in delivering major projects especially projects delivered in an investment bank or similar institution
- Recognised project management qualification
- This role will ideally suit a qualified accountant who has worked in a regulatory environment and subsequently moved into Projects
