A prestigious small software development c! ompany with a creative and innovative working environment are looking for a Junior QA Tester to come and join their fast growing organisation. They are currently working alongside some of the most recognised organisations and are in the process of expanding their testing department. The tester will be part of a QA and Testing team and will be carrying out testing procedures on bespoke applications and software that are tailored specifically to what their clients require. In addition to this, they will also be responsible for contributing their skills and expertise to an innovative working environment whilst improving the current testing procedures.
They are looking for testers who can work in a dynamic environment and can effectively time manage their work load. There will be in direct communication with ! developers, managing directors, customers and CTO's and must h! ave an excellent ability to communicate with a number of different people involved in the process. The junior tester must have great attention to detail and work to highest of standards.
Essential skill sets:
- Competent working with Windows OS (7, Vista and XP).
- Customising system settings.
- Modifying configuration files.
- Modifying registry files.
- Proven experience working with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, FogBugz)
- Experience and understanding automation, functional and manual testing.
- Able to work on a number of technologies (Java, C#, C++, .NET)
- Worked previous in an agile environment and capable working within short cycles.
