Job role will entail:

• To assess negotiate and settle travel insurance claims in accordance with the specific insurance policy issued and instructions received from the underwriters.
• To provide a high quality service to customers, taking account of agreed customer service, quality and productivity standards.
• Where appropriate, negotiate claims settlements in a cost-effective manner, which is fair and reasonable to customers.
• To ensure any potential fraud indicator is identified and acted on.
• To meet performance indicators, as agreed during performance reviews.
• To deal with the telephone calls in a customer-focused way, ensuring that service levels and standards are maintained.
• To support Manage! rs to manage the key risks within your department.

! Looking for:

• 2+ years previous experience within Travel Claims.
• A good understanding of FSA regulations and the TCF (treating the customer fairly) concept.
• Good numerical skills and computer literate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good planning and organisation skills in order to meet timescales.
• Ability to apply consideration to potential outcomes and to make decisions with supervision.
• Ability to follow referral procedure in order to find out necessary information and to capture relevant information during a claim.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with all parties.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
• Knowledge of Liberty claims system or a similar claims system.
• Ability to interact with all levels of seniority, both internal & external.
