Service Transition Manager

Location: London, England

A global business urgently requires an service transition manager to manage the transition of operational service management of the core infrastructure services provider f! rom India to the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver all service transition activity in line with service transition framework and recognised best practice methodologies.
• Responsible for transition kick-off meetings and overseeing transition activities and communicating status to all stakeholders , resolving transition issues, documenting risks, and developing contingency plans.
• Leads/supports all client facing Transition related activities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Produce detailed transition plans aligning with agreed milestones (as outlined below) and interdependencies.
• Participate in all governance reviews with the relevant stakeholders as required.
• Ensure structured internal reviews to track progress.
• Publish weekly transition status report to the stakeholders.
• Responsible for management of the wider transition team, internal technical resource, 3rd party suppliers! , and client stakeholders.
• Advise and facilitate the ! creation of service level agreements and service catalogue entries between the service recipients and IT service Manager.
• Collaborate with service providers (internal and external) on the design and delivery of "non-functional" requirements;
• Ensure smooth handover to the Service Manager team at the end of the transition.

Essential Skills:

• Professional IT qualification in Service Management (ITIL)
• Experience of project delivery in all aspects of the Transition Lifecycle Management-
• Risk management experience with ability to proactively assess/manage/mitigate risks
• Experience in interfacing with sales and client teams in developing/validating Transition Solutions, Validation of Transition proposals, and - Due Diligence exercises.
