Timothy James Consulting are working alongside a leading multinational financial corporation as they look to appoint an Open Wealth Senior Product Manger to join their rapidly expanding b! usiness segment.

Job Purpose -

To help define the strategic direction of the OpenWealth offering, build out new solutions, expand the market presence and footprint including leading sales discussions, work with existing clients to help define their strategy and close gaps within the operational capabilities of the product.

Job Background/ Context -

The 2 main product lines are:

• Wrap Administration focussed on providing platforms and other wealth managers with a web based solution to service the saving and investment requirements of retail clients either directly or via advisers
• Collective Investment Solutions (CIS) a fund order routing and custody capability aimed at meeting the needs of institutional clients by linking in to transfer agents in various jurisdictions

The product is growing quickly and requires an individual with experience in the sector to help drive the capability to the next stage ! of growth

Key Responsibilities -

Provide co-! ordination on various projects being undertaken across the business to integrate and develop the product set
Provide subject matter expertise on the direction of the market, particularly in the context of the regulatory changes taking place in the UK
Help further develop a comprehensive strategy for business growth
Work with Product Sales and Coverage to deliver a well-differentiated set of products and services to the marketplace.
Partner with Operations and Technology to ensure an effective cost structure and a satisfactory delivery of products and services; review & enhance operating model and lead strategic efficiency initiatives.
Fully support the talent management process to ensure we recruit, retain and develop talent.

Knowledge/Experience -

Excellent knowledge the wealth sector particularly in the context of the UK retail space
Proven ability to execute on strategy working with various partners to deliver strong outcomes Experience and a solid track record of managing risk in a complex regulatory environment
Experience of managing multiple programmes of work.
Knowledge or experience of outsourced contracts would be advantageous

This position is a very visible role that offers the successful candidate the opportunity to interact across the bank and help drive a relatively new product to the SFS business to its next stage. The role will involve significant client interaction and will therefore be visible to the wider marketplace.
