Main Purpose of the Role: The role of the Deputy General Manager is to achieve business objectives and excellent guest service results by ensuring all departments operate in a smooth and efficient manner and within the required standards throughout the hotel.Key Responsibilities: Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence. Oversee all aspects of guest service and ensure that Gues! t Satisfaction Quality Audit objectives are consistently excee! ded. To manage the Guest Satisfaction Program including JD Power and Trip Advisor alerts, responses and hotel follow-up in addition to achieving and exceeding targets.Ensure the smooth operation and co-ordination of the hotel through the respective Department Heads. Ensure the implementation and delivery of all Doyle Collection standards. Handle guest concerns and ensure effective follow up to eliminate/reduce those concerns. Complete the performance reviews of the senior management team in conjunction with the General Manager.Play a lead role in yield management in Rooms Division and Food Beverage.Take responsibility for the preparation of the Annual Budget Plan and monthly forecasts. Update and ensure timely awareness of the hotel's Business Continuity, Emergency and Crisis Management Plans. Play a key role in lead management for all operational initiatives. Direct operational needs to ensure compliance with the hotel's Annual Budget and 5 Year Strategic Plan.The ideal ca! ndidate for this position: Minimum 5 years senior management operations experience within a luxury / 5* hotel companyExposure to both F B and Rooms Management disciplinesProven track record in managing and been accountable for various hotel departments Is IT literate with strong administration skillsIs an excellent communicator with people at all levels of the business and from all backgroundsClear working knowledge of Budget planning process strong business acumenProven record to coordinate multiple departments to make gains towards targeted guest satisfaction feedback mechanisms to include JD Power, LQA, Trip Advisor and Quality TrackProven track record in managing all Health Safety compliance standards and coordinating the practical outputs of sameProven team-leader with outstanding motivational skills and coaching ability Ability to motivate developing leaders to act as entrepreneurs while implementing innovative, profit driven, guest satisfaction oriented solutionsIndi! vidual with immaculate personal presentationPost Secondary Diploma/Degr! ee in HospitalityBenefits package: Competitive salaryMeals on DutyProvision of uniformEmployee DiscountsEducational SupportEmployee Recognition AwardsAll applications will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence.
