An entrepreneurial, successful and growing investment management firm is looking for an L&D Manager to join the team. The new hire will work alongside the existing L&D specialist to help build out the soft skills curricul! um, develop a comprehensive management development offering and scope out then implement a learning management system.
This is a well resourced business with ambitious but achievable growth plans. Having spent time recruiting the right people, the focus is now on development, retention and talent management. There is excellent buy in from the senior stakeholder group who lead by example in managing their own development and thus the L&D Manager will be expected to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Managing the training cycle end to end including working with SMEs to develop technical content and working with HR colleagues to develop behavioural courses
- Working to embed the firmâs core competencies into development plans and individual objective setting
- Managing multiple projects including process improvement around evaluation and reporting
- Running workshops, 360 degree feedback sessions and coaching ses! sions where necessary
- Working with external suppliers! where required to source cost effective bespoke solutions
- Supporting performance management and talent management processes across the business and with HR colleagues
- Hire and oversight of an L&D assistant
