Opportunity to join a leading financial services organisation within a product documentation and education role.
The main purpose of this role is to wor! k with the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the Product Development team to gain deep understanding of the product functionality allowing development of new internal and external facing documentation and training materials. The varying deliverables may include high level overviews, consumer journeys, detailed product descriptions, etc.
Responsibilities include working with existing SMEs, creating new documentation for internal and external facing audiences of varying levels of knowledge, clearly and accurately articulating both written and diagrammatic content in an understandable way, creating training and presentation materials for selected product areas, using documentation tracking systems, following change management process to ensure audit trails are available, collaborating with Product Authors and technical authors within the team and in other areas of the organisation, to ensure consistency and alignment of materials and becoming highly proficient on the p! roduct and use this knowledge to enable others to achieve thei! r deliveries.
Essential skills includes expertise in producing product level documentation of varying levels of detail, developing and delivering training materials at varying levels of detail, with the ability to understand and explain complex areas clearly in business terms, capable of describing big picture down into product functional detail, translating between business and technical detail, explaining technical detail at a business level, capability to assess and propose alternative approaches to deliveries and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including Visio.
