Description: London South Bank University is at present looking to employ Club Link Maker right now, this job will be assigned in England. The satellite clubs intervention is a key part of Sport Englandâs Youth and Community Sport Strategy 2012-17, and aims to undertake transformational change in the way that young people are supp! orted from school, college and other relevant settings into community sport â" creating a sporting habit for life.
The vision of the satellite clubs intervention is that by March 2017, every secondary school (in addition to colleges and other relevant settings) will be offered a satellite community sports club. The creation of these satellite clubs will support an increase in the number of young people participating regularly in community sport.
NB 4 new posts are available â" 2 working across the PRO-ACTIVE East London area, 1 working across the PRO-ACTIVE Central and North London areas, and 1 working across the PRO-ACTIVE South and West London areas.
Successful candidates could be offered any of the four roles. Candidate preferences on geographical areas will be accommodated where possible.
PRO-ACTIVE London is a collaboration of five sub-regional sport & physical activity partnerships. The Partnerships cover the thirty three London b! oroughs and aim to improve the health and well being of London! ers, provide strategic co-ordination and contribute to the London 2012 legacy through sport and physical activity.
PRO-ACTIVE London is seeking enthusiastic and effective people to oversee and drive the satellite clubs intervention locally and manage relationships with key local partners.
Essential criteria includes a proven track record of achievement gained by experience in a field related to this post, a proven track-record of initiating and developing multi-agency partnerships and developing and delivering successful partnership projects.

Location
The Club Link Makers will be employed by London South Bank University but deployed across the designated PRO-ACTIVE areas where they will be focused. They will be required to travel regularly across the sub-regions in London and sometimes beyond to attend meetings and carry ou! t other work related duties where necessary.
