Description: Morson Group is at present looking to employ Power Engineers â€" DC Electrical Track Equipment right now, this vacancy will be designated in England. More details about this vacancy opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Our client has a number of roles available at levels from Assistant Power Engineers to Power Engineer. You’ll ensure their partner organisations effective! ly meet their requirements for the design and delivery of key upgrades to the power distribution system as well as the operation and maintenance of existing power assets. Key responsibilities will include reviewing design submissions and ensuring compliance with standards and specifications which will involve site surveys of our DC Electrification and Electrical Track Equipment Assets. As a Power Engineer within our team you’ll be very familiar with these assets and be able to develop works specifications for upgrade works, provide briefings on a range of power assets, produce formal reports and investigate incidents. Asset management will also be part of your remit: from maintaining existing equipment to designing and testing new systems, preparing invitations to tender and providing direction to site based contractors where necessary. This is a client side position working for London Underground

What you’ll need

For these roles, you’ll be qualified! at HND or higher and ideally hold, or be working towards the ! goal of, Chartered Engineer status. Either way, you must be an experienced engineer with a good knowledge of dc ETE and related distribution plant, maintenance techniques, safety legislation and best practice. A railway background is essential for the post.
