Project/Program Manager - Software Applications, Music Rights and Royalti! es - London We are the world leader of rights, royalties and licensing software for the music, film and licensing industries. We are seeking a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Project/Program Manager to join our growing Client Services Team. The right candidate will be able to lead software implementation programs and project teams, work with multi-site and multinational client base and have a strong skill set and background in stakeholder management. The Project Manager will also be an integral part of the internal Product Management process as the client voice/advocate. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for project team management and development, resource management, budget compliance, scheduling, project performance, client relationships, overall quality and the development of project plans. Document, and communicate key project management processes (scope, schedule, open issues document, risk, quality, compliance to negotiated contracts and financial metrics) Lead th! e project(s) from inception through completion, ensuring all p! roject milestones are met and that the project(s) is delivered on schedule with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction. Coordinate and manage software project planning for multiple enterprise software projects simultaneously from pre-implementation planning through implementation and post-implementation execution Proactively identify and monitor resource needs, project risks and budget requirements and communicate with Project stake holders (internal and external) as appropriate to flag project concerns and personnel or resource issues and seek solutions to mitigate the risks Closely monitor project status, troubleshoot and resolve obstacles, ensuring timely project progress Collaborate with Applications Development, Client Services, Sales, Marketing and external stakeholders to provide project management and direction on software analysis, design, development, testing and deployment Devise project time lines and communicate updates to internal and external resou! rces as required Provide a clear focus for the communication of milestones and technical schedules through pre-implementation, implementation and post-implementation execution Provide periodic status to senior management regarding active projects including escalation of concerns, risks and issues Manage client expectations and keep them in line with realistic commitments as received from Applications Development team and other participants Other duties as directed or required ESSENTIAL: 10 years' experience as a Project/Program Manager for large scale software implementations involving integration with clients' existing technology environment Advanced project planning expertise using major software project management tools (ie MS Project) Ability to build manageable project plans; manage multiple projects simultaneously and investigate and understand project priorities in the context of client and company plans to meet aggressive deadlines Demonstrated ability to apply crea! tive, innovative, analytical and critical thinking to strategies, pract! ices and problem-resolution; ability to anticipate and address unforeseen issues; strong attention to detail Exemplary client-facing, technical and business service and support skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively develop and maintain successful colleague, client and strategic partner relationships Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven capabilities interacting professionally with all levels of an organization - ie executives, technical teams and subject matter experts, both internally and externally Self-motivated with high degree of initiative and drive Flexibility - ability to adapt to changing priorities and rapid change Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook P roactive, can-do attitude and commitment to go the extra-mile to ensure outstanding results Quick learner and inquiring mind Experience with business analyst role in full project life cycle -- documenting, use! cases, designs, test cases, and helping with implementation preparation activities BA/BS degree required HIGHLY DESIRABLE: Certification in Project Management (PMP)/Price 2 or equivalent Working knowledge of the music publishing, media/entertainment, and/or brand licensing industries Experience with processing royalties and/or intellectual property licensing industry experience QUALIFICATIONS: A degree in a related discipline is ideal and/or a relevant industry qualification In return for your project/program management skills you'll be rewarded with the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects for multinational companies solving problems for the music, media and licensing clients.
