The role
You’ll use your administrative skills to help our students get the best from our learning and teaching facilities. From preparing pre-arrival and orientation information to updating course and unit handbooks online, you’ll be a key provider of up-to-date information.
Working closely with the Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching and other teams across the college, you can also expect to be involved in a variety of initiatives and projects. These could include reviews of the international student experience, digital literacy amongst students or employability. You’ll also carry out associated administrative tasks such as data an! alysis, record-keeping and support for academic committees.
Your profile
An experienced administrator with a background in higher education, you’ll have worked with an internationally and culturally diverse staff and study body. Your experience will include supporting formal meetings, including minute taking, and the ability to produce and edit complex written material, in particular for digital media.
An excellent communicator, you’ll have strong IT skills in Microsoft Office, databases and intranet/internet technologies. You’ll be capable of organising and prioritising your own work and collaborating with others to meet deadlines and objectives. The ability to analyse data and clearly present your findings is also key.
