My client require a Technical Deployment Engineer to work as part of the team responsible for technica! l pre-staging setup and onsite implementation. The successful candidate will be expected to have extensive hands on experience in the implementation & administration of Microsoft solutions.
Duties:
Responsible for onsite technical implementation delivery of school and academy based ICT solutions.
Deliver implementations to agreed timescales
Follow approved procedures with regard to change control and documentation standards.
Fault diagnosis and resolution with end to end management and recording.
Ensure that reported issues are resolved within service level agreements (SLA’s).
Completing technical documentation
Key Skills:
Windows Active Directory implementation and administration
DHCP, DNS and Group Policy
Windows Desktop Deployment and configuration (Windows 7/8)
Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager
Server virtualization technologies (VMware,! Citrix, Windows)
HP \ Dell Server and SAN hardware s! etup and configuration
IP Networking (Switch Configuration)
Preferred Skills:
Desktop Virtualisation Technologies (Xenapp, VDI in a box)
MSI Application Packaging
Microsoft DPM (Data Protection Manager)
Veeam Backup
