! A worldwide construction contractor currently seeks a Senior Planning Engineer to be based on-site on various building projects worth between £10m and £200m each.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner (Planning Engineer/Project Planner) to work for an International Leading Contractor, on some of the most prestigious projects in London & the South.
My client is a world leader in construction with £2bn worth of project wins in the last 12 months. With over 100 years experience in the construction sector and large-scale projects ranging from hotel and industrial building work to governmental, sport and leisure projects, my client is clearly an industry leader.
A Senior Planner is currently required to be involved in a variety of prestigious projects throughout London, including a new £150m hotel, a £220 leisure complex and various high-rise towers.
The successful applicant will be involved in the project from inception! through to completion and will be required to oversee the pro! duction of detailed project plans and the steady progress of the scheme. Other duties will include liaising with senior management and clients, monthly reporting and dealing with subcontractors, etc.
Ideally the successful candidate will have the following:
- At least 5 years experience of working as a Planner on building projects (Ideally 5yrs+).
- Must have previous exposure to working on projects valued at £20m+.
- Proficient with Asta PowerProject software.
- A relevant degree would be advantageous (although not essential).
- Excellent communication skills and previous experience of dealing with subcontractors, etc.
- Executive car/allowance
