My client is a market leading FMCG business who is seeking a Commercial Finance Director reporting to the CFO of the business. The Commercial Finance Director will act as a strategic business partner! to support and challenge the Senior Leadership team in commercial decision making, to drive business improvement and profitable growth across all markets.
The appointed candidate will play an integral role in the strategic planning process of the business, ensuring innovation plans are financially viable and sufficient to help the business achieve its financial objectives. This role will work across numerous finance and operational teams including Factory, Procurement, R&D, Sales and Marketing. This role will have a focus on New Product Development and will measure performance related to innovation and NPD. The candidate must have the commercial mindset, strategic acumen, technical experience and credibility to deal with external stakeholders.
Candidates should have a strong track record of career progression, be a qualified accountant and have industry experience in either FMCG or Retail. Drive, energy and dynamism will be highly sought after characteris! tics. International experience is a distinct advantage. A supe! rb package is being offered.
