Being a Support Worker means you play a vital role in preparing young people for independence, using your passion and skills to create brighter futures. We are recruiting several posts for! a brand new spot purchase service which will provide tailored support packages for 16 to 21 year olds with complex needs, as part of leaving care transition.

We are one of the leading voluntary sector providers of services for young people, offering fostering, children's homes and a range of housing and support services across England and the Isle of Man.
Currently under refurbishment, Bridge Close will be a safe environment offering high quality accommodation and support for young people. Working on a 7 day rota, the Support Worker will plan and implement individual support packages to develop key life skills, increase young peopleâs participation in education, work and the wider community, and ultimately help them to achieve their full potential. The work can be high energy and demanding;! however, we fully support our staff to achieve the excellent ! standards of service delivery that are our priority.
Applicants for this exciting career opportunity must have:
Experience of providing housing or other support to vulnerable individuals
Knowledge of the issues facing young people who are homeless or leaving care
Great interpersonal skills and team working abilities
The ability to achieve and sustain high professional standards in the delivery of services
A commitment to supporting all young people to live as independently and safely as possible.
