As a member of the Collateral Management Professional Services team, the ProtoColl Product Manager works directly with clients and internal functional partners (Sales/RM/CCC/Develo! pment/QA) as Collateral Management and ProtoColl Subject Matter Experts. Responsibilities include Pre-sales support/application demonstrations, definition and promotion of best practices for application use and implementations, first line approval for all business and functional requirement documents, and internal process improvement. The ProtoColl Product Manager also provides training during the onboarding of new associates, internal product communication & promotion to other Omgeo associates outside of the ProtoColl team, and acts as a point of escalation for implementations.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the ProtoColl Product Manager position include but are not limited to:
Work closely with the Sales team to provide pre-sales support including Product Demonstrations.
Ownership for responding to RFI/RFP’s including working with internal business partners to research responses.
Create best practices doc! umentation for the ProtoColl application and for implementatio! n projects.
Creation or approval of ProtoColl Business and Functional Requirements documentation for the enhancement of the ProtoColl product.
Assistance with creation of ongoing internal process improvement initiatives.
Assist with the onboarding of new associates by providing product and process training as requested by management.
External speaking and market communications.
Qualifications:
Specific skills
Must have experience in a sales/pre-sales capacity.
Must have a strong working knowledge of Derivatives products and Collateral Management operations.
Must have detailed oriented documentation abilities to translate business Requirements into solution design.
Must have a deep understanding of the ProtoColl application at a business and technical level.
Must have experience with public communications/speaking, or be comfortable with that role.
Education/Certific! ations/Affiliations
University degree required
Experience Type/Industry
5+ years of experience in pre-sales consulting, project management and/or Business Analysis required
Experience with full Product Development and Software Delivery Lifecycle
Collateral Management and/or associated instrument knowledge desirable
Functional Skills/Knowledge
Ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into defined business requirements
Must have extensive client facing experience with proven ability to effectively manage client expectations and concerns
Ability to communicate information/issues clearly and succinctly to technical/non-technical colleagues and clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
Working knowledge of PC hardware/software and operating systems
Demonstrated problem-solvi! ng capability and analytical skills
Familiarity with on-line t! raining and presentation platforms e.g. WebEx
Other:

Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Must be self-motivated and willing to expand skills and knowledge
Strong interpersonal skills

Knowledge of MS Office e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
Must be willing to travel up to 25%
