Right from the start, you’ll be involved in a wide range of accounting based activity. You’ll gain first hand experience in a variety of financial e! nvironments. Providing close support to our qualified accountants, you could be working on management, financial and transactional accounting, budgeting and tax across our UK and international operations.

We’ll work with you to develop your knowledge and understanding of all finance functions, including double entry book-keeping, general ledger, P&L, balance sheets and cash flows.

Tasks

With full training and support, key tasks will include:

• Producing accurate and timely month end management accounts (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow & reporting)
• Half-year and year-end Group reporting
• Cash flow forecasting
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Transactional processing for purchases and sales, fixed assets, bank reconciliation, accruals and repayments, in order to produce monthly management accounts.
• VAT calculations

Experience needed

You m! ust have attained at least a 2:1 in a numeracy based degre! e and GCSE Mathematics at Grade A, to be successful in your application.

You'll need to be an analytical self starter who shows excellent attention to detail and can find ways round complex problems If you thrive on challenge and variety, can deal with pressure, and work efficiently and accurately with numerical data and databases, you'll be fine.

We’ll be behind you all the way, providing regular advice and coaching to develop your financial and management skills, along with financial support and study time for your CIMA accountancy qualification.
